PTI workers arrested at Faizabad as security forces intensify presence

Faizabad, Islamabad: The authorities have begun arresting Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers at Faizabad, with over 25 individuals taken into custody so far.

A heavy police contingent has been deployed at the Faizabad interchange, a key location for PTI’s planned protest march toward Islamabad. In addition to the police, Rangers have also been stationed at the site to maintain order and prevent the rally from gaining momentum.

The arrests and increased security presence come as part of government efforts to curb the movement of PTI activists ahead of the planned demonstrations. Despite these efforts, PTI leaders and supporters continue to press forward with their protests.
